With vast knowledge and ten years of experience in agricultural research, Meagan oversees all ongoing research projects at Vida Nova and develops the company’s product line throughout the Midwest. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, data/project planning and management background make her a perfect fit for the Vida Nova team. Her specific training in cattle handling and sampling, protocol writing and implementation, along with a history of giving presentations and teaching research techniques classes ensure that Meagan will be an invaluable asset to colleagues and customers alike. Cooney regularly hosts dairy workshops and can provide customized on-farm or webinar training modules for your business.
Prior to joining Vida Nova, Meagan’s agribusiness experience included working as a Dairy Farm Research Manager, Research Assistant, Animal Technician, Lab Manager and Instructor. She earned a B.S. with honors in Animal Science from Cornell University and an M.S. in Comparative Biomedical Sciences from UW-Madison. Meagan is a member of ADSA and ARPAS. Her community involvement includes service as a member of the Dairy Girl Network, as well as being a Wisconsin Farm to Table committee member.
